Truncate from Left: Removes content from the beginning of the text, keeping only the last part based on the selected count.

Truncate from Right: Removes content from the end of the text, keeping only the first part based on the selected count.

Words to Keep: Keeps the specified number of words from either the left or right side of the text, depending on the chosen truncation direction.

Characters to Keep: Keeps the specified number of characters from either the left or right side of the text, depending on the chosen truncation direction.

Line-by-Line Truncating: Applies the truncation separately to each line instead of treating the whole input as one block. Useful for structured or multiline input.

Add Truncation Indicator: Appends or prepends a symbol (like "...") to indicate where text has been cut. Placement depends on the truncation side.

Examples of Truncated Text

1. Truncating a Sentence by Characters (Right-Side Cut)

Scenario: You need to shorten a sentence by removing a set number of characters from the end and keep only the first 10 characters of a sentence.

Input: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Option: Truncate from Right, By Characters (10)

Output: The quick

Note: Space is also counte as a character.

2. Truncating a Sentence by Words (Left-Side Cut)

Scenario: You want to remove a certain number of words from the beginning and keep only 3 words at the end.

Input: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Option: Truncate from Left, By Words (3)

Output: lazy dog.

Note: Period (fullstop) is also counted as a word.

3. Line-by-Line Truncating (Right-Side Cut by Characters)

Scenario: You have multiple lines of text and need to truncate each individually by keeping only 4 characters from beginning.

The quick brown fox
